Make your reservation to attend the 2018 Oklahoma History Conference, Wednesday through Friday, April 25–27, at the Oklahoma History Center. This annual conference is presented by the Oklahoma Historical Society.

This year’s conference theme is “OHS125: Collecting, Preserving, and Sharing for the Next Generation” in honor of the Oklahoma Historical Society’s 125th anniversary. The 2018 conference will include eighteen presentation sessions on a range of topics pertaining to Oklahoma history. Thursday’s plenary session will feature Ted Chapin, president of The Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization.

Attendees are invited to attend our optional conference activities, including a reception, tours, two luncheons, and a musical program. Prices for each event are listed on the registration form.

Reception
Enjoy a Wednesday evening reception at the Oklahoma Judicial Center, formerly the home of the OHS, hosted by Justice Yvonne Kauger.

Conference Luncheon with Keynote Speaker David Grann
The Annual Conference Luncheon on Thursday, April 26, will feature keynote speaker David Grann, author of Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. Please note: the luncheon is sold out.

Celebrating Oklahoma! at 75
Join us Thursday evening for a musical program at the Oklahoma History Center. In celebration of the musical’s 75th anniversary, this program will trace the story of Oklahoma! and its influence on musical theater. The event will feature performances by students from the Oklahoma City University Wanda L. Bass School of Music.

Tours
Choose from three Thursday tours including a bus tour of the ’89er landmarks in downtown Oklahoma City; a tour of restoration efforts at the Oklahoma State Capitol; or a behind-the-scenes look at the Oklahoma History Center.

Annual Awards Luncheon
The Annual Awards Luncheon on Friday, April 27, will include the induction of new members into the Oklahoma Historians Hall of Fame and the recognition of other contributions to the collecting, preserving, and sharing of Oklahoma history.

Registration

Conference registration is $15 for OHS members and $25 for nonmembers. Optional activities including two luncheons, three tours, and a concert are available for an additional fee.

The deadline for registration is April 20, 2018. Please print and complete the registration form and mail to the address below. To register by phone call 405-522-0317; please have a credit or debit card ready. We will hold your name tag, event admissions, and other materials in a packet at the registration table.
