The Oklahoma History Center is celebrating American Indian Heritage Month with activities throughout the month of November.
Join us November 8 for a day exploring traditional men’s clothing including demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On November 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m the museum will offer a symposium for the 150th anniversary of the creation of the Pawnee Scout Battalion. The symposium will explore the history of the battalion, their role within the tribe, and the impact on the tribe today. On November 22 we will explore traditional hunting with demonstrations and live exhibitions from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All events are free with museum admission.
