Beginning Soap Making, Oklahoma History Center

Join the Oklahoma History Center on Saturday, March 12, 2016, for a hands-on class exploring the art of handcrafted soap-making using both historic and modern methods. Participants will learn how to make old-fashioned lye soap, discuss the history of making soap, and craft their own soaps to take home. The class will be from 12 to 3 p.m. and the cost is $40. Space is limited to twelve people and registration is required. The age limit is twelve and above. All materials, including safety equipment will be provided. Please, no open-toed shoes or sandals.
