Photos with Santa, Will Rogers Memorial Museum

Plans are in place for a festive holiday season at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore! Santa Claus will visit the museum for photographs with children on the first three Saturdays of December—December 2, 9, and 16. Santa will be available for photos from 11 am to 2 pm in the beautifully decorated Heritage Gallery. Admission is free for Santa photos, and guests are asked to bring their own camera. Visit Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center on Thursday, December 21, for guided walks to learn about the winter solstice and how prehistoric American Indians dealt with the changes in the seasons. There will be guided walks at 11 am, 2 pm, and 7 pm, led by Dennis Peterson, archaeologist and director of Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center.
