“Cooking in Cast Iron” Second Saturday Living History demonstration, Fort Towson Historic Site

On Saturday, November 12, from 1 to 3 pm, Fort Towson Historic Site will host “Cooking in Cast Iron.” This Second Saturday Living History demonstration will feature Robert Wallace cooking over an open fire. Wallace will demonstrate how food is cooked using cast iron, and attendees can sample some delicious fare. Do not miss this exciting and educational experience. Fort Towson Historic Site is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm and offers free admission. The fort is located 14 miles east of Hugo on Highway 70.
