On Thursday, October 5, at 6:30 pm Fort Towson Historic Site will host a special presentation entitled “Discovering Spiro.” Dennis Peterson, archaeologist and director of Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center, will share information about the Spiro Mounds site and the American Indians who called it home.
