Preservation 50 exhibit opens, Pioneer Woman Museum

Beginning Tuesday, September 26, the Pioneer Woman Museum will host the Preservation 50 exhibit from Preservation Oklahoma, Inc. This special traveling exhibit includes photos of buildings and structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places and information about the 1966 National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). Visitors will learn more about the NHPA and its importance to preserving Oklahoma’s historic resources. In conjunction with the exhibit, David Pettyjohn, executive director of Preservation Oklahoma, Inc., will give a presentation on Saturday, October 7. Details will be released soon.
