Pioneer Woman Museum volunteers Lorraine McDonagh and Joan Galbraith will be on hand to demonstrate the traditional arts of hand spinning and weaving. Guests can watch, mesmerized by the talent of these two ladies and the way their hands move to create beautiful pieces of hand woven fabric and hand spun yarn. Joan and Lorraine jointly work on a fiber project: Joan is working with raw wool to turn it into fine, hand-spun yarn that Lorraine will then crochet into a lovely piece of fiber work. This is an ongoing project through 2014. Stop by the museum to see how they are coming along. Spinning and weaving demos are free with museum admission. Subject to weather closings. Free with museum admission.
