“African Americans in the West” Brown Bag Lunch and Learn, Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center

Trappings of the Cherokee Strip exhibit opening, Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center

The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center will host its fifth annual Trappings of the Cherokee Strip exhibit of fine Western art and custom cowboy gear. Trappings opens to the public on Saturday, February 25, and will remain open through Saturday, March 25. This invitational show brings together an impressive collection of art and cowboy gear, featuring several of Oklahoma's best Western artists and craftsmen.
