“Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma!” book discussion, Pioneer Woman Museum

“Let’s Talk About It, Oklahoma!” is designed to encourage adults to read and discuss literature based around a central theme. The series at the Pioneer Woman Museum will have a baseball theme. The book group takes place from 10 a.m. to noon and will meet once monthly, August through December. It is open to the public, free to attend, and intended for adults ages eighteen and up. “Christmases on the Plains” lecture, Pioneer Woman Museum

On Saturday, December 12, at 10 a.m., Dr. Sara J. Richter from Panhandle State University presents a lecture entitled “Christmases on the Plains.” The presentation and discussion will highlight traditions of the holiday season for those living on the plains. Holiday Happening, Pioneer Woman Museum

The Pioneer Woman Museum will host the 3rd annual Holiday Happening on Saturday, December 12, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Celebrating “Christmas on the Plains,” the museum will host Dr. Sara J. Richter for her presentation, “Christmases on the Plains” at 10 a.m. This will be Dr. Richter’s third presentation on Oklahoma history at the museum this year.
