Carnegie Public Library to Host Christmas Tree Display

GUTHRIE, Okla. — Beginning Monday, November 27, and continuing through the holiday season, the Oklahoma Territorial Museum in Guthrie, Okla., will have Christmas trees on display in the Carnegie Library. The Carnegie Library also will be part of the Guthrie Historic Homes Tour on Saturday, December 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guthrie's finest homes, churches and the Carnegie Library will be dressed for the season. Visitors will enjoy tales of the early days of Oklahoma's first capital. The Carnegie Library will be serving wassail to warm the hearts and hands of tour participants.

The Oklahoma Territorial Museum, located at 406 East Oklahoma Avenue in Guthrie, Okla., is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
