Hunter’s Home to Host Beading Workshop

PARK HILL, Okla. — On Saturday, August 4, staff at Hunter’s Home will hold a Beading workshop. Attendees will learn how to build a traditional felted bag, complete with beaded designs and satin strap. They will be instructed in this traditional craft by a Cherokee artist.

The cost for the class is $125 per person and includes all materials and instruction. This workshop will take place at Hunter’s Home and will begin at 9 a.m. Lunch is not provided. Hunter’s Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
