Oklahoma History Center Announces Spring Break Activities

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -- Join the Oklahoma History Center this spring break at Oklahoma History Camp. From March 18 to 22 the History Center will offer summer camp-themed hands-on activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Activities range from scavenger hunts to archaeological digs. The event is free with museum admission. All ages are welcome and registration is required.

The Oklahoma History Center is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains 32 museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state. Through its research archives, exhibits, educational programs and publications the OHS chronicles the rich history of Oklahoma.
