“Charlie Russell’s Yarns” living history, Plaza Theatre

The Museum of the Western Prairie is pleased to announce a living history presentation entitled “Charlie Russell’s Yarns” on Friday, April 21. The presentation will be held at the Plaza Theatre, located at 107 North Hudson in Altus. Theatre doors open at 6:30 pm and the program begins at 7 pm. It is free and open to the public. Enjoy this living history presentation by award-winning historian Raphael Cristy as he portrays Charles M. Russell. Explore Russell’s life and works through his own words. Cristy’s performance presents Russell’s storytelling along with some of his best paintings and sculptures. Part autobiography, part virtuoso storytelling, “Charlie Russell’s Yarns” is a hearty feast for the soul. This event is hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society.
