“Harvesting Hay with Draft Horses” Demonstrations

Fort Towson Historic Site will host “Harvesting Hay with Draft Horses” Demonstrations on Saturday, September 21, at 1 p.m. Learn about the history of harvesting and storing hay—from cutting it by hand to using horse power to harvest winter feed. Draft horses will be on site performing various tasks associated with harvesting hay. Bring the entire family to this exciting and educational event!
