“Pieces, Blocks, and Stitches: The Fabric of Our Lives” quilting presentation by Dr. Sara Richter, Pioneer Woman Museum

The Pioneer Woman Museum recently opened a new exhibit entitled “Pieces of a Collection: Selected Quilts of the Pioneer Woman Museum.” The exhibit highlights historically significant quilts and sewing implements from the museum’s permanent collection. It will be on display until Saturday, September 16. In conjunction with the exhibit, several educational programs are planned.

On Saturday, June 24, at 10 am Dr. Sara Richter will give a free presentation entitled “Pieces, Blocks, and Stitches: The Fabric of Our Lives.” Richter’s presentation will incorporate quilts and quilting, and how the art reflects the life of the artist.
