Richard Simunek, author of Lone Star School: Now We Are Going to Be Americans, will review his book at 7 pm on Tuesday, April 3, at the Museum of the Western Prairie.

Lone Star School is a work that began out of memorabilia from Simunek’s father’s one-room schoolhouse in Hennessey, Oklahoma, and became a story about the building of America as a great nation. Simunek will discuss his book and the school that inspired it.
