Visit Fort Towson Historic Site on Saturday, July 8, from 1 to 3 pm for a Primitive Fishing Techniques demonstration.

Harvesting fish as a food source was as important in the past as it is today, but the methods were different. Come learn from Timothy Hollingshed as he demonstrates and these techniques, covering everything from spears and traps, to poles and hooks, and modern technology. This demonstration will be located inside the museum.
