The Museum of the Western Prairie in Altus is pleased to host a special exhibit titled Reflections of the Wichitas: Oils and Watercolors by Katherine Liontas-Warren. A premiere program for the exhibit will be hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society on Thursday, October 24, at 7 p.m. The exhibit gallery will open at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Reflections of the Wichitas showcases more than two dozen beautiful pieces by Katherine Liontas-Warren. Each piece celebrates the majesty of the landscapes found in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Liontas-Warren has been an Oklahoma resident since 1984 and is currently a professor of art at Cameron University in Lawton, where she teaches drawing, watercolor, and printmaking. The exhibit will be on display October 22, 2019, through January 21, 2020. For more information please call 580-482-1044.
