Reflections of the Wichitas: Oils and Watercolors by Katherine Liontas-Warren exhibit opens

The Museum of the Western Prairie in Altus is pleased to host a special exhibit titled Reflections of the Wichitas: Oils and Watercolors by Katherine Liontas-Warren. The exhibit showcases more than two dozen beautiful pieces by Katherine Liontas-Warren. Each piece celebrates the majesty of the landscapes found in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. Liontas-Warren has been an Oklahoma resident since 1984 and is currently a professor of art at Cameron University in Lawton, where she teaches drawing, watercolor, and printmaking. The exhibit will be on display October 22, 2019, through January 21, 2020.

A premiere program for the exhibit will be hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society on Thursday, October 24, at 7 p.m. The exhibit gallery will open at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information, please call 580-482-1044.
