Third Saturday Living History program, George M. Murrell Home

Visit the George M. Murrell Home in Park Hill on Saturday from 1 to 4 pm to participate in a nineteenth-century living history activity. This month’s theme will be World War I, and attendees can make poppies to commemorate those who died. The Third Saturday Living History program is free and open to visitors of all ages. It is held on the third Saturday of each month, with a new topic for each program. The Murrell Home is located three miles south of Tahlequah at 19479 East Murrell Home Road in Park Hill. The 1845 plantation home was the residence of George and Minerva (Ross) Murrell, and is a National Historic Landmark.
