Women and Wilderness – Keeping the Family Fed

What difficulties were faced by pioneer families to put food on the table? How were foods different and how were they cooked? Join Outdoor educator Luann Sewell Waters for this enlightening program that includes excerpts from pioneer women’s diaries and examples of some food prep equipment. Discussion includes tasting samples.

Class times are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The class fee is $5 per person and includes museum admission. The class size is limited to 20.
