Decorations: Air Medal; six Oak Leaf Clusters; Order of the Purple Heart; Presidential Unit Citation. Served as Fighter Pilot with his group during the' , Battle of the Bulge' , in Belgium. Died March 10, 1945, in action near Hadamar, Germany.
