Decorations: Order of the Purple Heart; two Bronze Stars j Combat Infantry Badge; American Defense Medal; European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. Graduated Glencoe High School in May, 1939. Member of the Christian Church. Member of Oklahoma National Guard, enlisted in 1938, in 179th Infantry. Served with the 45th Division. Awarded Good Conduct Medal. Died February 18, 1944, in action at Anzio Beachhead, Italy.
