Decoration: Order of the Purple Heart; Bronze Medal (recommended by Battalion Commander). Graduated from Washington School, Oklahoma City, 1931. Served as a first aid man in North African, Sicilian, and Normandy campaigns. Wounded in action at Cherbourg, France, on June 22, 1944. Died June 23, 1944, of wounds in France.
