Decorations: Order of the Purple Heart awarded posthumously; Combat Infantry Badge. Awarded Good conduct Medal and received American Legion Citation. Graduated Classen High School on May 25, 1932; attended Hill's Business College; employed by National Stockyards Company prior to enlistment. Member of the Methodist Church, Arcadia, Oklahoma. Died March 4, 1945, in action near Reuth, Germany.
