Bring mother to the Oklahoma History Center this Sunday and she'll get in free. The Oklahoma History Center is offering free admission for all mothers on Mothers Day. The Oklahoma History Center is located at 800 Nazih Zuhdi Drive, just east of the State Capitol on N.E. 23rd Street. The History Center is open Mothers Day from Noon to 5:00 p.m.

The featured exhibit is "Another Hot Oklahoma Night: A Rock & Roll Exhibit." The exhibit explores the Rock and Roll artists, radio stations, personalities, venues, and fans that have called Oklahoma home. Beyond the facts of each story, the exhibit shows how growing up in Oklahoma affected the music. These stories are displayed in an innovative style to encourage visitor participation and ensure our visitors will take away a new perspective on the history of Rock and Roll in Oklahoma. The exhibit focuses on recording artists, song writers, rock and roll radio stations, music venues, and rock and roll fashions through the decades.

The Oklahoma History Center is open Monday thru Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Admission to the Oklahoma History Center is: Adults - $5, seniors (age 62 +) $4, students - $3, children five and under are admitted free. The History Center features a special family rate of $15 per family. Annual memberships are also available.
