All of the individual programs will run continuously throughout the day from 10:00 a.m. thru 3:00 p.m. Thus, families can arrive at any time during the day to take part in the activities.

A number of activities and living history reenactors will bring the museum galleries to life. Visit the cowboy camp, the Civil War soldier, the dust bowl farmer, the pioneer woman, the printer and more. Each will have a variety of items relating to their lives for individuals to explore.

Create your own corn husk doll! Learn to embroider, cross stitch, and quilt. Each of the quilts finished will be donated to the Infant Crisis Center. Special telegraph operators will show you their trade while the Oklahoma Archaeological Survey introduces families to Oklahoma’s prehistoric past. Kids will also want to visit with the Oklahoma children’s author for special readings from books.

All activities are free with paid admission to the museum: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $3 for students and children over 5, or take advantage of our family pass for just $15.
