Pioneer Woman Museum Opens Special Exhibit on Oklahoma Women and Rock and Roll "Let's Have a Party"

The Pioneer Woman museum in Ponca City is opening an exhibit that focuses on women of Oklahoma Rock & Roll with a special free concert Saturday September 19th. The satellite exhibit to "Another Hot Oklahoma Night" will feature the women of Oklahoma rock & roll. The exhibit is entitled "Let's Have A Party" after Wanda Jackson's big rockabilly hit. The Pioneer Woman Museum is located at 701 Monument Road in Ponca City.
The exhibit will open with a free outdoor concert. The concert is on the lawn so visitors are welcome to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

Later that evening the city of Ponca City will host a concert at the Poncan Theater featuring Wanda Jackson and Becky Hobbs. To buy tickets contact the Ponca City Chamber of Commerce or the Poncan Theater.
The Pioneer Woman Museum is open Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesdays thru Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is closed Sundays and holidays. Admission is $3 for adults, $2.50 for seniors, and $1 for students.
