WHAT: Farm Day at the Oklahoma History Center

WHEN: Oct. 8 and 9

WHO: 3,000 fourth grade students from Oklahoma City Public Schools - 1,500 on the 8th and 1,500 on the 9th will see demonstrations of jobs done on the farm and participate in hands-on activities.

  • Brace and bit
  • Hand corn shellers
  • Corn cob dolls

  • Pitcher pumps
  • Wind generator
  • Horse drawn equipment
  • Rope maker
  • Broom maker
  • Blacksmith
  • Cotton display
  • Oklahoma crops
  • Ice cream makers

Education staff will be available for interviews. This should be a great video/photo opportunity.
