Oklahoma History Center Presents "Portrait of a President: An Evening with Abraham Lincoln" Free Program for Teachers and Students

The Oklahoma History Center presents Portrait of a President: Abraham Lincoln, on November 19, 2009. The school program and teacher workshop are offered free to Oklahoma students and teachers. Registration is required.

Abraham Lincoln will be portrayed by Fritz Klein from the Lincoln Institute in Springfield, Illinois. Actor Richard “Fritz” Klein has been a professional actor and speaker for many years and began portraying Lincoln in 1980. A member of the National Speakers Association and a student of Lincoln himself, he has had opportunity to travel the world, portraying Lincoln on stage, in feature films, documentaries, and for many kinds of professional speaking engagements.

This special program is intended for students from 4th grade through 12th. School programs will begin at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM. In addition, a special teacher workshop will run from 4:00 PM through 5:00 PM. Registration is required.
