Folger

Submitted by Guy D. Folger

Our branch of the Folger family tree entered Indian Territory in 1872–1873, after a few years in Arkansas, in the person of Stephen Folger. Stephen served in the Union army with the 28th New York Infantry and the 7th Maryland Infantry. After the war, he operated a meat market in Lockport, New York, until heading west in 1866.
