Monogrammed Brick Stories

Sapulpa O.H.C.E. 2004

Submitted by Carletta Webb (Pres. 2012) & Janice Brunk (Pres. 2004)

Sapulpa Creek County Oklahoma Home and Community Education Group (O.H.C.E.) meets once a month for fun, friendship and learning. Each year we plan and carry out projects to improve our community, participate in the Creek Co. fair, help with the Creek Co. OHCE quilt show whose proceeds are used for two $500 scholarships.

We purchased our brick because our members were interested in preserving Oklahoma history. Members at the time were Joan Almeida, Ola Asher, Era Mae Ashton, Janice Brunk, Annebell Farmer, Wilma Gentry, Marty Hausner, Ida Mae Lair, Bettye Legrand, Bonnie Miller, Mary Neal, Sheila Sebring, Jean Walton and Carletta Webb.

On January 6, 2009, Sapulpa OHCE helped start Sapulpa Genealogy Club at the Sapulpa Library.
