Monogrammed Brick Stories

Thomas Wesley Brown

Thomas W. Brown was born in Woodward, Oklahoma, in 1916. He was very proud of his American Indian heritage and being an Oklahoman. He spent over 20 years serving in the military (Air Force) with several overseas assignments. He and his family spent three years in Ankara, Turkey, and six to 8 years in La Paz, Bolivia, and Sucre, Bolivia. He wrote down a lot of his adventures in three books: Heritage of the New Mexico Frontier, From New Mexico to Hiroshima and New Mexican's Abroad. He returned to Oklahoma in 2001. He is buried in Bethany, Oklahoma.
