Thomas Wesley Brown

Thomas W. Brown was born in Woodward, Oklahoma, in 1916. He was very proud of his Indian heritage and being an Oklahoman. He spent over 20 years serving in the military (Air Force) with several overseas assignments. He and his family spent 3 years in Ankara, Turkey, and 6-8 years in La Paz, Bolivia and Sucre, Bolivia. He wrote down a lot of his adventures in three books: "Heritage of the New Mexico Frontier," "From New Mexico to Hiroshima" and ""New Mexican's Abroad." He returned to Oklahoma in 2001. He is buried in Bethany, Oklahoma."
