Kenneth an AuDeanne Spencer

Ken and AuDeanne Spencer met at Oklahoma Baptist University They married in 1942, just before Ken joined the Navy. A World War II medic, he later became a schoolteacher and principal. They settled in California and were happily married for 58 years, raising three children. Ken graduated from Pawnee High School, attended OBU on a basketball scholarship, and earned a B.S. AuDeanne, third daughter of early Oklahoma pioneer Samuel p. Cupps, was born in Tulsa on January 12, 1921, grew up in Sand Springs, and graduated from Tulsa High School. "Deannie" was beloved by her Kindergarten students in the many places they lived. In 1992 they drove around the USA in their motorhome, enjoying relatives and friends, and the sights and landmarks of the country they loved.
