Mother was the 9th child of 12 born to Veva Beatrice Roberts and Scott Rex Roberts. They lived on a farm outside Moorewood, Oklahoma. The plague of 1918 took the lives of mom's three oldest baby brothers. Heartache was to remain in the family forever. While attending high school in Weatherford, Oklahoma, Mom worked at the drug store as a "Soda Jerk." Dad was the fourth child of 4 born to Harry Otto Lovelace and Adelia Regina Buehler and lived in Clinton and Oklahoma City. Married June 1, 1947, had three children, Phyllis, Steve and Donna. Mom worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone in Marketing. Dad worked for Frisco Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer. Mom was of English descent with a dash of Native American. Dad was of German (Germans from Russia) descent.
