Olbert Wesley /Sarah Jane Williams

Olbert Wesley Williams Sr. and Sarah Jane McElroy Williams were both born into slavery in 1837, he in Mississippi and she in Texas. After US Emancipation of slaves, they relocated to Ft. Smith, Arkansas. In 1900 they moved to Earlsboro, (Pottowatomie County ,Indian Territory) Oklahoma, along with their three children, Olbert Wesley Jr., Mahalie, and Daisy. They are buried in the Earlsboro Cemetery. Their daughter, Daisy Williams Dollarhide, was my Grandmother.
