W.F. and Frances Kerr

William F. Kerr was the city editor for the Lawton State Democrat 1903–08, managing editor of the Daily Oklahoman, 1908–1910; owner and editor of the Western Oil News in Ringling, Oklahoma, in 1915; founder, manager and director of the Industrial Survey in 1918; and editor for the Oklahoma Publishing Company in 1918. In 1922, Kerr and Ina Gainer published "The Story of Oklahoma City." Later, Kerr worked as a correspondent for the Oil and Gas Journal and again for the Daily Oklahoman as a political writer. After William suffered a debilitating illness Frances went to work for the Oklahoma Tax Commission and also provided a news-clipping service.
