The OHS Research Catalog is available online. Researchers can use the catalog to locate numerous resources and collections. Items are added regularly.
Please note the Research Center does not participate in the interlibrary loan program.
About the Research Online Catalog
The catalog contains four sections:
Archives - Manuscripts, Photos, Microfilm, American Indian Records, Maps, Oral Histories and Film.
Library Catalog - Books, journals, newsletters and quarterlies.
Newspaper Catalog - Newspaper holdings.
Newspaper Articles - Citation index of newspaper articles for select titles and dates.
The Archives Catalog
Users may search the entire collection by typing a keyword into the search field, and clicking "Search". Researchers may also click "Browse by Collection" to view a complete list of available collections.
Manuscript collections - use the Standard or Advanced keyword search.
Oral Histories - search by keyword, or click the "Oral Histories" link to view a complete listing.
Photographs - Users may use a Standard keyword search, or click the "Advanced Search" link on the left. The Advanced Search screen allows users to enter multiple keywords, and select the "Images Available" box, which limits search results to records containing an image.
The Library Catalog
To search the Library Catalog, type a keyword into the search field and click 'search'. Keywords can include an author's name, book title, or subject.
