Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War was started in 1885. They were granted a federal charter in 1985. The organization is organized by "Tents," all of which are named after a Civil War nurse. This collection contains the applications for membership for Oklahoma Tents that are now inactive. The index includes first and last name of the soldier, regiment and state if given, and the first and last name of the applicant. The index also included the Tent number and name. Additionally, the collection contains a log book of past presidents for all of the Oklahoma Tents.
