American Indian Archive

Since 1934, the OHS archives have housed American Indian Records for numerous tribes. These records include a variety of official documents and information relating to tribes in Indian and Oklahoma Territory. Many of these materials are available on microfilm. Patrons who wish to view these records are asked to use microfilmed copies when available. When accessing Federal American Indian records, researchers must first sign a research application form.
