Cemetery Resources in the OHS Collection

Information regarding cemeteries, headstone inscriptions and more can be found in the OHS collection. To locate cemetery books, refer to Oklahoma Cemeteries: A Bibliography found under call number F 693 P5. This publication lists resources by county, and includes an alphabetical listing of cemeteries by name.

Locating Cemeteries

To find information about the cemeteries in a specific county, refer to the cemetery index books. Created by the Oklahoma Home and Community Education, Inc., this series includes a volume for each of Oklahoma's 77 counties. Volumes include information such as cemetery listings, maps, general information and photographs. Look for these books in the reference section under call number F 694 O4.
