The Research Center offers a complete microfilm collection of US Census for 1790-1910, and select records from 1920 and 1930. Located in the Microfilm Room, the reels are arranged alphabetically by state, then by year and county.

The Research Center offers 15 computers with access to Ancestry Library Edition® and HeritageQuest Online™ - both allow patrons to search, view and print various items pertaining to genealogy.
Ancestry Library® offers US Census, ship logs and passenger indexes, WWI draft registration cards, vital records, and the Social Security Death Index.
HeritageQuest™ also includes US Census as well as Revolutionary War pension & bounty-land warrant applications; the Freedman's Bank (1856-1874); and PERSI (Periodical Source Index), an index of almost 2 million genealogical and local history articles.
