Pursuant to the National Historic Preservation Act, as amended, to applicable federal regulations (36 CFR Part 61), and to Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma, agrees to:
Enforce appropriate legislation for the designation and protection of historic properties as stipulated in Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma, "Eligibility".
Maintain an adequate and qualified historic preservation review commission composed of professional and lay members in accordance with Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma, "Historic Preservation Review Commission"; and each member of the commission must possess a demonstrated interest in historic preservation.
Maintain a system for the survey and inventory of historic properties pursuant to Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma, "Survey Standards".
Provide for adequate public participation in the historic preservation program, including the recommending of properties to the National Register of Historic Places as stipulated in Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma, "National Register Nomination Process".
Adhere to all Federal requirements for the Certified Local Governments Program.
Adhere to the requirements outlined in the State of Oklahoma's Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma issued by the State Historic Preservation Office.
Submit to the SHPO by September 1st of each year the Annual Report for Certified Local Governments in Oklahoma.
Upon its designation as a Certified Local Government, the City of shall be eligible for all rights and privileges of a Certified Local Government (CLG) specified in the Act, Federal regulations, and procedures of the State of Oklahoma. The rights include eligibility to apply for available CLG grant funds as set forth in Certified Local Governments Program for Oklahoma, "Allocation of the CLG Fund".
