The Oklahoma Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office is pleased to present its 2011/2012 series of special events. The location of each event or series is given below, and there are no registration fees unless noted. If you have questions, call 405/521-6249. NOTE TO ARCHITECTS: Registered architects will earn American Institute of Architects Continuing Education System (AIA/CES) Learning Unit Hours (LU Hours) for attending these programs. Self report your attendance at http://www.aia.org/education/index.htm. The SHPO will provide written learning objectives and a certificate of attendance.

Location: Travertine Nature Center, Chickasaw National Recreation Area, Sulphur (c.a. 90 mi. south of OKC). From I-35, take Exit 55 to SH 7, turn left (east onto SH7, continue to intersection with US 177 (c.a. 10 mi), turn right (south) onto US 177, continue through park (c.a. 1 mi), turn left (east) onto southeast perimeter road, continue to Nature Center parking lot (c.a. 2 mi). (Alternatively, after turning south onto US 177, continue 1/4 mi, turn left at directional sign for "Nature Center," continue through low-water crossing to parking lot.)
