NOTICE
NEW SHPO POLICY FOR SHIPPING TAX APPLICATIONS (HPCAs) TO NPS

The Oklahoma State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is pleased to inform applicants for the federal rehabilitation tax credits of a change in the payment for shipping Historic Preservation Certification Applications (Parts 1, 2, and 3), amendments, and other materials to the National Park Service (NPS). Effective May 1, 2017, NPS will cover the SHPO's costs for shipping these materials via Federal Express for overnight delivery to Washington, D.C. Applicants shall no longer provide the SHPO a Federal Express shipping label nor shall the SHPO invoice applicants for any shipping costs. NPS sought approval for and was authorized to provide this service using funds from HPCA review fees.
