Location: Location: Washita Battlefield National Historic Site Conference Room, 18555 Highway 47A, Suite A, Cheyenne, OK. From I-40 east and west, take exit 20 (Sayre) and travel north approximately 23 miles on US-283 into Cheyenne. Turn west on Highway 47 through town. Continue 1/2 mile and turn north onto Highway 47A. The Visitor Center is located on the right. The historic site, featuring the park overlook and interpretive trail, is located approximately one mile further on Highway 47A.
