An Evening of Storytelling at Fred Drummond Home

HOMINY, Okla. — The Fred Drummond Home will be hosting its annual evening of old-fashioned storytelling this year on Saturday, October 24, from 6 to 8 p.m. Costumed storytellers will share tales of Halloween and legends from the past as guests are led through the historic home.

This is a family-friendly event, and visitors will be offered a prepackaged treat at the end of the tour. The tours begin at 6 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. A small admission fee will be taken at the door of $3 per person. 

Due to COVID-19, safety precautions are being taken for this event. Visitors are asked to please practice social distancing to ensure individual safety and the safety of others. The Oklahoma Historical Society requires face masks in all public areas of its museums, sites and affiliates, including the Fred Drummond Home. For more information, please call 918-885-2374.

The Fred Drummond Home is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people.
