Museum Campout at Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher

KINGFISHER, Okla. — The Chisholm Trail Museum in Kingfisher will host the museum’s first urban campout on August 4–5, 2018. Campers can begin arriving at 6 p.m. on Saturday evening, and the campout ends at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning.

During this family-friendly event, participants will spread out their bedrolls on the museum grounds and participate in activities such as dancing, traditional games, music, storytelling and roasting hot dogs and s’mores. Campers should dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair. Registration is required and one adult chaperone is needed for every six children. The cost is $3 per person, or $15 per family. The Chisholm Trail Museum is an affiliate of the Oklahoma Historical Society.
