Easter Egg Hunt at Fort Towson

FORT TOWSON, Okla. — Join in the fun of an Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds of Fort Towson Historic Site on Thursday, April 18. The fort grounds will be sectioned off for students to hunt eggs hidden by teachers and parents. Please register for the hunt to ensure that enough areas are prepared.

For more information about the event or to register, please call John Davis at 580-873-2634 or email jdavis@okhistory.org. Fort Towson Historic Site is located north of US 70 near Fort Towson. Hours of operation are Tuesday–Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fort Towson Historic Site is a division of the Oklahoma Historical Society. The mission of the Oklahoma Historical Society is to collect, preserve and share the history and culture of the state of Oklahoma and its people. Founded in 1893 by members of the Territorial Press Association, the OHS maintains museums, historic sites and affiliates across the state.
